Lynnderella Boy Girl Party - Swatches and Review

There has been a lot of nail polish drama llamas floating around the internet this past week due to Lynnderella. Now I'm not a super massive huge fan, desperate to catch 'em all [pok-e-mon!] but the few I do have, I quite like.

Boy Girl Part is now one of my favourite glitters. It's comprised of pink, red and blue glitter with some holographic diamonds thrown in for good measure.

These swatches are one coat over 2 coats of OPI Russian Navy.

The formula is pretty good and the glitter isn't as 'goopy' as some others. The glitter 'bleeds' (intentionally apparently?) but I haven't really noticed that, except for a very very sheer pink tinted base.

Here's a zoom. I love the mix of glitters.

This polish is not easy to get hold of unfortunately but it makes me wonder readers - does drama (such as supply issues and general 'strangeness') surrounding a polish brand make you want the brand less or more?

  1. The drama makes me want the polishes less. I have seen a lot of pretties from Lynnderella that I'd like to have, but the system with the wish list put me off back then. Now I'm not really lemming for her polishes anymore.

    1. I agree with you there, and now it's even harder to get them here as she won't ship here via her eBay store! Good for the wallet though I guess...

  2. I bought some Lynns in a flash sale on Llarowe so will see what all the fuss is about, but her new collection holds no interest for me. I feel pretty sad about the going's and some of the stuff posted has left a sour taste in my mouth about Lynnderella and her attitude. I will most excitedly look forward to Pretty & Polished and Dollish (and the other Indie polisher) joining Llarowe! :)

  4. Drama makes no difference to me, I'm buying polish not the person. That being said, love this!!
